According to the Bible, those who love God are the ones who Obey the Commands of God. According to John 14;15, ““If you love me, keep my commands.” However something as simple as the day of worship which is a command of God is not being kept anymore by Christians….Christians are keeping Sunday worship which you cannot find in the Bible at all because it is not the day of worship according to God. The 7th day which God Almighty set aside to give us rest, blessings and holines is none other than Saturday called the Sabbath day according to the scriptures. However, even though so many Theological students see this fact, they still continue to worship on Sunday. Why? According to 1 John 2:3-6, “We know that we have come to know him if we keep his commands. Whoever says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in that person. But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.” Then we have to live as Jesus did, but which day to Jesus Christ go to church? According to Luke 4:16, “He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:” He went to the church/temple on the Sabbath day which is Saturday according to the Bible and then read from the Bible. If we truly love God we will do the same exact thing. So, why is it that so msy go to church on Sunday? It actually came from a man named Roman Emperor Constantine who abolished the true day of worship the Sabbath day which is Saturday and indoctrinated Sunday worshipn in 321 AD. He did this because he loved the sun god because he was a pagan worshiper. He worshiped many gods but his favorite diety was the uinconquered sun god. WHo should we follow then in light of all oif these facts in history? God or Roman Emperor Constantine? What does Jesus CHrist say about those who follow teachings of men and not of God? He said in Mark 7:6-9, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’….You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions”…….And he continued, “You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!” Many say this command was abolished once Christ was crucified, but what did Jesus Christ himself say about this? Matthew 5:17, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.”
