The Sabbath day which is Saturday is kept by the members of the Church of God World Mission Society! No Christians on this Earth keep it according to the way that Jesus Christ kept it! If we are to be called Christian then we have to follow Christ’s example! “ I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you” (John 13:15). Jesus Christ kept the Sabbath Day, but not according to the Old Testament because he brought the new way of keeping it “in the order of Melchizadek, not in the order of Aaron” (Hebrew 7: 11). That’s why the Pharisees and Sudduccees said he was breaking the Sabbath when he healed on the Sabbath Day! He was breaking the Old Covenant Sabbath Day because he brought the new way of keeping the Sabbath. The other Christians that claim to keep the Sabbath Day, keep theirs from Friday evening sundown to Saturday evening sundown. However, no where in the Bible does it say to keep it in this way. We can see that the Sabbath Day according to the Bible is the full day of Saturday. Even from the creation it says,“ God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day”, and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening and morning- the first day.” (Genesis 1: 4-5). Many misinterpret this verse. When was God creating the first day? Before the evening Came God was working! Then the evening came! The morning came to mark the end of the first day! Then in the 10 Commandments when God says remember the Sabbath day by keeping it Holy… God didn’t say keep the evening before the Sabbath Day Holy! Friday is called Preparation Day in the Bible. “It was Preparation Day (that is, the day before the Sabbath).” (Mark 15: 42). Further proof is in (1Samuel 19:11) where it says, “Saul sent men to David’s house to watch it and to kill him in the morning. But Michael, David’s wife, warned him, “if you don’t run for your life tonight, tomorrow you’ll be killed.” Clearly other Christians that claim to keep the Sabbath Day but don’t keep the full Day of Saturday are worshiping incorrectly according to the word of God. Every Church of God World Mission Society teaching comes directly from the Bible! That’s why everything is shown through the Scriptures!
