RSSAccording to the Bible there are going to be so many great disasters in the last days. However, the World Mission Society Church of God does not preach about the end of the world. Rather what is preached is the way to be protected form all these disasters. So many disasters are occuring now and even though the entire world looks on at the disaster in Japan, there is nothing anybody could’ve done for them in the moment of the disaster. No human being could’ve saved he people of Japan from this catastrophic natural disaster! The only one who can save in that moment is God Almighty! Then, why is God bringing disaster?
1 See, the LORD is going to lay waste the earth
and devastate it;
he will ruin its face
and scatter its inhabitants—
2 it will be the same
for priest as for people,
for the master as for his servant,
for the mistress as for her servant,
for seller as for buyer,
for borrower as for lender,
for debtor as for creditor.
3 The earth will be completely laid waste
and totally plundered.
The LORD has spoken this word. 4 The earth dries up and withers,
the world languishes and withers,
the heavens languish with the earth.
5 The earth is defiled by its people;
they have disobeyed the laws,
violated the statutes
and broken the everlasting covenant.
6 Therefore a curse consumes the earth;
its people must bear their guilt.
Therefore earth’s inhabitants are burned up,
and very few are left.
Acccording to this passage, everyone is breaking the everlasting covenant and that’s why so much destruction is happening to the Earth right now. But what is the Everlasting Covenant? According top Hebrews 13:20, “Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep” But what is this eternal/everlasting covenant that is made through Christ’s Blood? Luke 22:(7-20) ”
They left and found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover.
14 When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table. And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer……….And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me…………In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.” According to this verse the Covenant made through Christ’s blood is the eternal covenant that everyone is breaking. If we keep the New Covenant Passover bread and wine, then we will be protected from the great last disasters. The Passover only comes once a year!
